The casting is well done with no visible seams and feels solid.
A couple of the legs are hollow to allow water to easily fill the decor and keep it submerged.
The product has quite a bit of detail -
it looks metallic even though it is made of some kind of resin, and the greenery climbing around it works underwater as well as in a miniature garden.

- Size: Like in the car mirrors state cars in back of you are closer than they appear to be. We suggest you read dimensions or see reference object we show you before purchasing.
- Smell: Because of the glaze on its surface , there will be a little smell. Please use the cool fresh water to clean it, or let it air for a few days to see if the smell goes away, then submerge it into tank.
- Edges: Like most molded aquarium decorations, it needed a few sharp spots filed down, no big whoop. You may use sandpaper, nail file or other power tools ...
- Hollow: Make sure you read dimensions carefully in case the hollow is too small for you lovely betta, or filling it with cheap filter floss will avoid being trapped. Of course, we support return without any worries.
- Cleaning: When you do your water change, you can reach the inside with a toothbrush to make sure there's no nasties growing inside.
